Long Island Conservatory of Music's Conservatory Diploma Program is designed to give aspiring musicians a solid musical foundation and to develop skilled performers in their choice field of study.  This program is available for students wishing to study keyboard, orchestral instruments, and voice. The diploma represents recognition of accomplishment in the field of music. This program adds more time to the intense studio training and comprehensive instruction in stage performance.  The program focuses on three areas of concentration:  major field of study, course work in music-related subjects and ensemble performance.       Summer 2012 Academic Calendar Long Island Conservatory of Music CD/AD Date Details 7/9 Summer Camp begins Early registration - Full program -$200 off (must register by 05/30/2012) Classes begin - Diagnostic exam week 7/30 - 8/3 Mid-term exam 7/31 Full Registration begins 8/13 - 8/16 Final exam 8/16 Summer Camp ends 9/17 Fall program begins Graduation Recital TBA Commencement TBA Schedule can be changed without prior notice.
